Ok, so I've been MIA on DA and Gaia because we moved and out in the country the only internet we could get was this tiny netbook that apparently doesn't like Gaia at all... I can't get it to load up properly. dA takes forever, and won't load the submission thing right either. This means that my Gaia is essentially closed but I can't actually get on to officially close it. If you ordered anything, you can go ahead and cancel it. And as some sort of consolation, I will put free versions of some of the items on Mushmallow for all to use. I probably won't be uploading anything to da for a while, but they will be on my site.

The only art I've been doing lately is for Whuddleworld and Mushmallow. If you haven't joined WW, you should! It's the cutest online community but of course, now that I'm an artisan, I may be a bit biased.

I'm trying to redo my site. I've sucked at keeping it up but since I have less to focus on, internet wise (RL is a different story), I really want to relaunch it in an awesome way. I know the smilies were a hit, but what other freebies would yall like? Freebies for dA, gaia, myspace, lj, wordpress, forums, your own site, etc.?

And here's the tricky question, what would you be willing to pay for? Commissions, stickers, shirts, magnets, buttons? Any suggestions? I had some people buy stuff from my store on zazzle and I really appreciate it, I really do. I can't express how much! You can ask my hubby, every time I get an order, I jump up and down! I know... I'm a nerd. I haven't been able to order my own items so I'm interested to know the quality, so if you've ordered from them, please let me know what you thought of the finished products.

In non art/web related news... I'm pregnant with #5 due at the end of July. My hubby and I now own a farm and hope to have lots of chickens, goats, veggies and fruits soon. And I'm still recovering from the shock of watching my Saints win the Superbowl.

Ok, sorry for all that ww obsessed gushing. Onto other things.

I'm going to try to crank out some more sketches today. I'm just in the mood to draw and draw and draw. What I have learned is that I suck at drawing bodies. Dynamic poses are hard to accomplish, too. But I'm going to keep at it.

I found a new artist to love. jfrison Her art is amazing. I love comic book style art. It doesn't get enough credit with the anime/manga craze going on.

Personally, I like to try and walk a line between the two. Don't know if that comes off in my art just yet, but that's my intention.

Do you have a personal/favorite style?

I love playing video games but not the same ones most others play. Don't get me wrong, I love Mario and Tekken, but the only ones I've bought or demoed lately were mystery games. Most of them were a let down because, to me, simply pointing at items on a list isn't really challenging. So far, I beat every single one before the demo runs out. Why aren't there more games that actually require thought?

I bought a Nancy Drew game some months ago, The Legend of the Crystal Skull, and it was great. Really entertaining, nice graphics, and the puzzles were decent. The only thing is that it's basically for kids so it only took like two days to solve. I keep trying to find a mystery game for adults but most of them are either really old or have poor reviews.

I found a site called Sleuth on the net but even though it's a great time killer, it's the same thing over and over again.

Does anyone have any suggestions for decent games I could try out? Or any great mystery books that aren't Sherlock Holmes or Agatha Christie? (I'm trying to branch out.)

On another note, I have actually been pixelling lately. I can't upload anything yet, but I just wanted yall to know there's new stuff coming... probably in April.

I'm throwing my cousin a bridal shower and the theme is "Tiffany & Co." so expect to see some cute pics from that. And I'd love to hear any ideas for decorations or for the shower in general. I've only ever been to 2 and this is the first time I've ever thrown a real party.

- proud that she lost almost 15 lbs already.
- stressed that she still has 25lbs to lose before being the maid of honor in Tiffany's wedding. Strapless gowns. *shudders*
- open to any advice on throwing a bridal shower. We're both in our 20's and not so much into formal but kind of forced to class it up a bit for our elders.
- mourning the lose of her favorite player on her favorite team. We'll miss you Deuce! I hope your new fans will love you as much as we did.
- working on some projects to make mushmallow way way way better.
- hopefully spending the weekend in New Orleans with my peeps.
